API Reference


uiButton(x, y, w, h, text, clickMessageName, options)

Shows a button.

Notes: UI works in "immediate mode", so it must be requested on every frame on onLocalTick.

Parameters:
Name Type Default Description
x number The UI-space X coordinate of the left of the rectangle.
y number The UI-space Y coordinate of the top of the rectangle.
w number The UI-space width of the rectangle.
h number The UI-space height of the rectangle.
text string The text to show on the button.
clickMessageName string ButtonClicked Name of the message to send when the button is clicked. This message is sent to the requesting actor (the actor that called uiButton).
options UiButtonOptions Additional options, if any.
