setLight(rangeopt, colornullable, offsetnullable)

Sets up the current actor to be a source of light (point light) with the indicated color and range. To stop emitting light, call clearLight.

Lights are expensive in terms of performance. If you have more than a few actors emitting lights in your project, you may notice slowdowns. Ok, maybe not on your incredibly fast nitrogen-cooled powerhouse of a computer, but think about the users that will play your game on slower machines :-)

null The color of the light. If null or not provided, uses the actor's tint color.
