API Reference


getAimOrigin(actoropt) → {THREE.Vector3}

Gets the point in world space that serves as the origin for the "aiming ray" of a player-controllable actor.

For more information about what aiming means, see getAimTarget.

This is a point near the player. It is not exactly ON the player because in third-person view the ray is aligned with the camera, not the player, for better user experience.

This only returns a meaningful value for player-controllable actors.
