clone(original, posopt, rotopt) → {ActorRef}

Clones (creates a copy of) the given actor.

Note that this is a relatively expensive operation, so use clones with care, especialy in multiplayer games where every clone will have to be synchronized across the network.

Also, be careful when your cloning logic can get triggered repeatedly. Use cooldowns and other sanity checks to ensure that you won't accidentally create 100,000 actors when you wanted to just create one. It's especially dangerous to clone an actor who itself will clone actors as that can lead to exponential cloning, which will likely crash the game, so don't try it. You're trying that right now aren't you. I shouldn't have documented this.

Offstage actors: If you clone an offstage actor, the clone will be onstage. This is normally what you want (such as when using an offstage actor as a model to clone from).

Parameters:

pos Vector3 <optional>
The position of the clone. If omitted, will default to be the same as the original. Note that they might bump into each other this way! :)
rot Quaternion <optional>
The rotation of the clone. If omitted, defaults to the rotation of the original.
