castAdvanced(origin, dir, maxDist, radiusopt, modeopt, includeActorsopt, includeSelfopt, includeTerrainopt)

Performs a ray or sphere cast with fully customizable parameters (advanced).
Parameters:
Name Type Attributes Default Description
origin THREE.Vector3 The origin of the ray or sphere.
dir THREE.Vector3 The direction of the cast.
maxDist number The maximum distance of the cast.
radius number <optional>
0 Radius of the sphere to use. If 0, it's a raycast.
mode CastMode <optional>
Cast mode. See CastMode for options.
includeActors boolean <optional>
true Include actors in the cast?
includeSelf boolean <optional>
false Include self in the cast? (Only meaningful if includeActors is also true).
includeTerrain boolean <optional>
false Include terrain (ground and construction blocks) in the cast?
Returns:
The result of the cast. The type depends on the requested cast mode. If it's CastMode.ALL_SORTED or CastMode.ALL_UNSORTED, it's an array of CastHit. If it was CastMode.BOOLEAN, it's true or false. If it was CastMode.CLOSEST, it's a single CastHit or null if there was no hit.
